Join us for a screening of The Business of Being Born
The Business of Being Born is a 2008 documentary film that explores the contemporary experience of childbirth in the United States. Directed by Abby Epstein and produced by Ricki Lake, it compares various childbirth methods, including midwives, natural births, epidurals, and Cesarean sections.
Movie will start at 7:00 and runs an hour and 25 minutes. Come early to find your seat, get a snack, and get settled. Stay after for discussion.
This screening is being hosted by The Pregnancy Alliance of North Carolina. Viewing is free of charge. Donations are welcome and will help support low income families receive doula support and birth education.
